IT HAS COMETH UPON THAT TIME WHEN THE PICTURE IS TELLING ME TO STOP.
Like a car with broken brakes driving 180 mph towards a brick wall, I must jump off it. Quick! Haha, anyway, there’s still a little bit more left to this picture (I’m stuck regarding the smoke-cloud). I’ve to say that this is the most CLICHE picture I’ve ever drawn…. not that I didn’t intend it. I was just combining all of the horrible aspects that made the cover of our previous Yearbooks, incorporating every single dumb superficial symbolism (trees to represent my school’s affinity for Mother Nature!; the three main races of Malaysia to represent UNITYYYYYYYY; the book represents knowledge and our school’s ‘legendary’ habit of reading) that they LIKE and using a pretty common composition in patriotic advertisements in this somewhat parody.
What made doing this bearable was that I was experimenting a different process and painting style! I’m very much inspired by Sachin Teng, and being me, I like knowing what my idols’ process is so I can study them, so I snagged whatever from this tutorial, and just applied it.
I HAVEN’T DONE A COMPLETE PICTURE IN AGES.Project Working Too Much on the Yearbook Cover: done.

WHICH MEANSI have to fight a super long battle now to get this cover accepted for the yearbook.
OH, ASGARD AND HEAVEN, HELP MEEEEEEEEE.
